Ms. Aurora Ahmetaj
Ms. Aurora Ahmetaj is the Safeguarding Lead at Vision International School (VIS), a role she assumed in January 2026. She is also an Early Years Teacher and serves as the Grade Level Lead for Pre-K and KG1, contributing to the academic and pastoral development of the school’s youngest learners.
With over seven years of experience in education and currently in her third year at VIS, Ms. Aurora brings a strong understanding of child development, wellbeing, and early childhood education to her safeguarding role.
As Safeguarding Lead, Ms. Aurora oversees the implementation of the school’s child protection procedures, responds to safeguarding concerns, supports staff in maintaining effective safeguarding practices, and works collaboratively with families and colleagues to keep every learner safe.
Ms. Aurora holds a Master’s degree in School Psychology and is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Education, further strengthening her knowledge and expertise in supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Ms. Aurora adopts a child-centred approach and believes in building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to create an environment where children feel safe, heard, and empowered.
